There is a book that I received for my son that it has a copyright. However, the book is NOT a story at all. It is merely an alphabet book that uses the letters of my son's name. My question is - I am really interested in creating a book using this same idea (an alphabet book that revolves around each child's name), but I don't know if I am allowed to since this book has a copyright. Is the "idea" what has the copyright? Please help me or recommend who I might speak to about this.
