I was recently asked to negotiate a production deal by a friend of mine. But, the problem is that I don't know anything about the music industries legal aspects.
I've been searching for info, but without any luck.
How can I find information about production and record deals? I was told that I should separate the two. At one time I wanted to have a record contract for myself. I'm glad I didn't make it, because I don't know a thing about the legal side of it. If you can please help and point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. My friends career depends on it. I hope I don't let him down.
