I'm in a band from the United Kingdom, and one of our
songs was released on a compilation CD by a big US
company.
We didn't get paid for this, the agreement was that we
would receive promotion from the release. However, the
CD accidentally credited another band for our song, so
we didsn't benefit at all. The CD was a huge success,
and all the other bands on it profited immensely.
The company have refused to do anything aboutit, like
reprint the cd covers, withdraw the cd's or even give
us more free promotion. They have completely avoided
dealing with the issue but have made lots of promises.
How can my band force them to do something about this?
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
