I need to know what my rights of ownership are on this issue: I produced 8 songs on a 13 song album. It was an all-in deal and the artists' mgmt. has not given me a producers contract yet. The album has been out for six months!!! The artist, record company, and myself are all in Tennessee, and I was told that by TN law - I own most of the album until they give me a contract. Is that true, and can I sue for more monies or more ownership in the album. I've worked with this artist and label a lot in the past, so I began production without a contract based on a verbal agreement in good faith. Help!!!!!
